We use Rafflecopter to run our giveaways. It can be difficult to internally collect information for a giveaway and we have found Rafflecopter to be a solid option when running a giveaway with multiple types of entry. Running giveaway directly through Instagram can require a lot of work like creating spreadsheets of entries.

Rafflecopter is well suited for giveaways where you want to have people enter in multiple ways and having the option to choose specific ways. For example, if you want people to follow on social media sites (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) or post on the social media sites. It has a great feature to customize your own option as well. For podcasts like us, we like to have entries follow us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.

Rafflecopter is widely used and people have usually heard of it before. The other way we coordinate giveaways is to have a. spreadsheet with all the entries. Then use Google's random number generator which correlates to one of the rows in the spreadsheet which would be our winner.
